Formula to work out daily profit

Hi, I have a table with the date in column A and the amount of each transaction throughout the day in column B. I need a formula in column C to determine the daily profit for each day. So, the formula will need to determine where each day starts and ends as well as give the sum of each day's takings. My attachment will give you an idea of what I would like column C to show.
