Which options to choose

I have multiple parts with dollar values. What I would like to do is have them in a chart. I have a total I need to reach. I want to have a formula/program/etc that will suggest combinations of parts that will reach the total value I'm looking for.
Ex
A. $5
B. $8
C. $3

Total $21

= (2) a (1) b (1) c
