Answer needed when conditions are met

Hello.

The following information in both columns has been added manually but I'd like it to be entered automatically.

In column B, a set of ratings will appear after a calculation has been performed and I want the following information to show in column A with the following conditions:

If the number in column B is between and including -0.50 and 0.50, I'd like an X in column A.
If the number in column B is greater than 0.50, I'd like a 1 in column A.
If the number in column B is less than -0.50, I'd like a 2 in column A.

I'd also like to 'fine-tune' the formula if possible so I can adjust the ratings if necessary.
