Linking google sheets and an excel file

Hi Guys,

First of all, thank you for taking the time to read through my questions.

I am trying to link a shared google sheets file and a local excel file (the driver file). Can google sheets pull data from a local excel sheet?

I would then like the google sheets file to link check each id and let me know which of the following conditions it contains.

1. Obsolete (id is on google sheets but not on the driver file)
2. Id is on both files but the min qty does not match.
3. Id is on both files and the min qty does match but the current qty is below min qty.
4. All conditions are met.

Is this possible?

I have attached a file to try explain what i am looking for (the two tabs represent different excel files). Is a index match formula the best to use? as the file is quite large this can be extremely slow and cause the files to crash.
