Pro Rata Mobile Network charges?

Hello,

I am hoping you can help me, I have been told I need to keep an eye on our business mobile phone bills, they are all on pro-rata billing.

I am trying to make a calculator in excel to double check this. So the the calculator should be as follows-

When did your contract start: 19/09/2017

What day of the month is your bill produced: 14

How much is your airtime tariff: £20

Total:

The above is based on a old flash file calculator we can no longer use.

To attach a Excel file to your post,

• click Go Advanced,
• scroll down until you see Manage Attachments,
• click that and select Browse,
• select your file and click Open,
• click Upload and you will see your attachment below Upload Files from a website
• click Close this window,
• click Submit reply

After that you should see attachment in your post

Yes but did not find the formula I needed, that was in fact the first thing I did, was hoping someone tidy would help me out.

B1: 01/09/2017
B2: 14
B3: £20
B4: =ROUND($B$3*(1+(EOMONTH($B$1,-($B$2>=DAY($B$1)))+$B$2-$B$1)/DAY(EOMONTH($B$1,0))),2)

I've just taken a look at both of them files, as I am a bit of a beginner, those two files read like a different language.

I thought that this might be an easy formula for this community, I'm good at design, coding etc but when it comes to excel and mathematics I am terrible. If someone could take the time to help me out I would appreciate it.
