On January 1 my company will transition vacation from calendar year to hire month. In an effort to accomplish a smooth transition I have been challenged with the task of ensuring each associate has no negative impact. Has anyone ever gone through a transition like this? I am at a complete loss as to how to handle this.
Currently associates are issued vacation after 90 days.
Hire Year - Vacation is Pro-Rated not to exceed 56 hours
Associates 1st FULL Year - 56 Hours
2-4 Years - 64 Hours
5-14 Years - 96 Hours
15 Years Plus -128 Hours
