    Auto update formulas

I have a situation that, apparently, is way too complicated for my tiny brain to figure out:

Every day I download a .csv file from an online program that has a number of columns and rows - it's a progress report monitor for 180-ish students in an online course. Each course activity is a column, and each student is a row.

I've been able to take one worksheet and put in functions to calculate grades (i.e. adding the three tutorials and averaging them in a separate column, so I don't have to do all those calculations by hand).

What I'm wondering is, can I somehow "freeze" those functions or, in other words, have them auto populate with the new information once I download the next day's report? Can I have that main worksheet auto update with the new data?

    Does that make sense?
