I think I made my original post in the wrong forum.
I'm trying to setup my Loan spreadsheet to update the current value remaining into a single cell but I don't have a strong understanding of excel. Can someone please assist me in fixing my function it keeps returning a blank value.. I would like it to read something akin to:
K19 =VLOOKUP(K17, D1:J74, 6).
K17 =DATE(YEAR(TODAY()), MONTH(TODAY()), 9).

first you can try with this: =VLOOKUP(K17, $D$1:$J$74, 6)
Still returning a blank value.
your column number 6 is blank so how you want to get any value?
Syntax
VLOOKUP (lookup_value, table_array, col_index_num, [range_lookup])

Attach a sample workbook (not a picture). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.
Remember to desensitize the data.
Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

You inadvertently answered my silly question. Column 6 was blank, I needed the value in column 7. lol Thank you.
