I have A2:A74 with usernames and some have a numeric value at the end so I want to drag down so I have A2 username at a75, but I need to do this several hundred times. Issue I'm having is with numeric values the numeric value changes. How can I paste the same rows multiple times without having to drag down?
You mean EXACTLY the same values as in row A2?
If yes, copy first row with your data, select range from A3 (not a range like A3:C3) to the end of your needs, and Ctrl+V

I'm probably not making myself clear.
in cells a2:a74 I have 73 random usernames. I need to copy and paste those same usernames about 100 times in cells a75:a148, a149:a222, etcc
So you try:
existing rows = 72
multiply 72* (eg.) 5 = 360
plus exisitng rows 360+72 = 432 plus row(s) over your data (in this case: 1) so total: 433
now
select existing range of your data
copy
press and hold CTRL key
select range from A2:A433
right click and paste
(why right click? because CTRL key is busy)
do the same with 100 plus existing range (72)
you need count it because range of copy is different than target range so you need to know multiplication of the existing range and select it

CNTRL + Down Arrow to bring you to A148, arrow down to A149
Paste
Continue

Alternately, in A75 enter = A2
Drag that down as far as you need to go.
Then select the entire column, Copy,
Paste special > Values

or
copy your existing range (still selected)
press and hold SHIFT
select last row of your target range (Must be a multiplication of the number of rows in the first range)
release SHIFT and press and hold CTRL key, right click and paste
anyway if you want copy exactly the same range 100 times you need to count multiplication rows (eg. 793 - this is the last row of new range)
