Counting numbers which fall in a range

Hi All,

Thanks in advance!

I have a column which has a series of SKU numbers

numbers that range from 1-99 = 1 product range, 1000-1999 = another range and 2000-9999 = another range

I'm looking for a formula that will look up the data in the column and return the total amount of items in the range

look at data in column A and tell me how many results there are between 0-99

I can repeat the formula for the other ranges, it doesn't need to show results for each range

hopefully it's not too difficult!

Putting range values in columns D and E try this formula in F4 and fill down.
