    Find and Replace

    Hi,

I'm after a find and replace function. I don't want to manually do it, I'll like it automated (somehow) - not sure if this is possible?

I have a table of Data E2:N13 (which is selected from a drop down menu). The dropdown list is R3:R8 which will always hold the new data. S3:S8 currently holds the old data.

I need to somehow change the data table E2:N13 from any cells containing the old data to the new data.

But without manually doing it. The cells within E2:N13 will alway need to be a Data Valadation list.

I have attached some sample data.

    Thanks for any help

    Re: Find and Replace

This has been posted to the formulas section.
A formula cant do this, VBA is the only solution.

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.

    Re: Find and Replace

You can create a copy of the table, apply this very basic INDEX MATCH formula and then copy and paste the new values over the old table. Use copy and "paste as value".
