SUMIF and Filters

In column M the formula is shown, this is counting the qty of units per account name (column A)
I need that formula to work when I apply a filter to column J. Right now it is not. PLEASE HELP !

I suspect you need to combine SUMPRODUCT with SUBTOTAL.

What this screenshot doesn't show, is that I have roughly 1227 rows of data. There are over 600 different accounts that populate the different columns. I need individual totals for each account in column M. Yes they duplicate until the next name comes up. I need to sum based on the filter in column J

Please attach a file or have you considered a pivot table! It would make quick work of this it seems from your description.
