How to convert square inches into yards

Hello Everyone,

I am working with artboards in Adobe Illustrator that vary in height and width.

I have been tasked with keeping track of all of these measurements which may change from time to time.

I would like to create a document that will convert the height and width (which are recorded in inches) into yards and automatically change if I need to adjust them.

It would look like this:

I have no clue how to approach something like this. I found some other code that works that I was hoping to convert for my purposes but I cannot figure it out:

Okay here is a short version of what I am trying to do. The "Decals per sheet" is not really important. I just want to figure out how to convert the inches to sq. ft. automatically.

That is amazing. I realize that this is an extremely complex formula. I would like to learn more about excel but I would need to begin at a more beginner level. Where would you recommend I find decent training?

If you search the web you will find numerous sites offering training, several of which are free.

I would also recommend you go to a library and see what books they have on Excel and consider purchasing one if you find a suitable one.

Most of my education has been "trial and error" with great support from the experts on this forum.
