    Formula To Calculate Age and Age at Death If Applicable

    F12:
    DOB

    G12:
    =DATEDIF(F12,TODAY(),ʺYʺ) & ʺ Years, ʺ & DATEDIF(F12,TODAY(),ʺYMʺ) & ʺ Months, ʺ & DATEDIF(F12,TODAY(),ʺMDʺ) & ʺ Daysʺ

    K12:
    Death Date

    L12:
    (Age at Death)
    =DATEDIF(F12,K12(),ʺYʺ) & ʺ Years, ʺ & DATEDIF(F12,K12(),ʺYMʺ) & ʺ Months, ʺ & DATEDIF(F12,K12(),ʺMDʺ) & ʺ Daysʺ

    I am having trouble with formula for L12-current gives me parse error. Also, would it be possible to alter G12 to displayed 'Deceased' instead of continuing to age if there is a date in K12? And on that same token, could L12 display 'Alive' if no date is entered in K12?

    Excel uses straight quotes:

    F
    K
    L
    M
    12
    2/4/1963
    5/10/2017
    54 Years, 3 Months, 6 Days L12: =DATEDIF(F12, K12, "Y") & " Years, " & DATEDIF(F12, K12, "YM") & " Months, " & DATEDIF(F12, K12, "MD") & " Days"
    Entia non sunt multiplicanda sine necessitate
