    CELL REFERENCE ISSUE (FV SCHEDULE Function)

    I am trying to return a 'range' nested in the FVSCHEDULE formula? I keep getting a #REF error and don't know how to fix the problem.

    This is the formula I came up with: FVSCHEDULE(1,OFFSET(INDEX($E$22:$E$26,1+SUMPRODUCT(--($D$22:$D$26>=EOMONTH($N$9,0))),),,,,):OFFSET(INDEX($E$22:$E$26,1+SUMPRODUCT(--($D$22:$D$26>=EOMONTH(N9,0))),),,,,))

    I have a monthly cash flow that goes for 10 years beginning at cell N9 and a table to the side of the cash flow representing timed inflation adjustments.

    Any dates prior to Sep-2014 should equal 1. When I eliminate the 5th entry (Sep-2021) the formula works but when I input that 5th entry it doesn't. Not sure

    Welcome to the forum!

    I've never used FVSCHEDULE before, so I might be off course, but I went with the following formula in N15, array-entered (confirm with Ctrl + Shift + Enter instead of Enter):

    =FVSCHEDULE(1,IF($D$22:$D$26<=EOMONTH(N$9,0),$E$22:$E$26,0))

    Then fill right to the end of your data. The results seemed to fit with my understanding of the project (interest is compounded at the specified dates and amounts). Take a look at the attachment to see if it looks useful. If I'm misunderstanding things, please clarify what values you expect.
