Help Conditional Formatting Formula

Please help me.

I am trying to create a training matrix with colour changing cells. The idea is the sheet will show the date the training was completed and then change colour as training needs to be redone so all training needs refreshing each year the cells will be green until 9months later then change to yellow and then change to red 1 month before training is due.

I have tried to complete this for the last two days and now I am loosing the will to live.

Use Conditional Formatting formulae like:

=TODAY()>EDATE(B5,11)

If there are lots of cells being applied to, was looking to see if it would be better to put the TODAY in it's own cell and reference ity

Works for me, except maybe put TODAY in it's own cell and reference it

yes, unless there is a LOT of data, that many TODAY's could slow the file down - as could a LOT of CF cells anway
