Drop Down Auto Select

I am new to this forum so be gentle. I am using a drop down list for Data Validation and was wondering if there is a way to make selection of the data in the drop down easier. I would like to be able to start typing a part number and it find it in the drop down list. Is this possible. The list is quite long ~250 items and growing and this process would be easier if I didn't have to navigate the drop down by scrolling the list.
