Conditional Formatting (Multiple cells)

Hi,

I'm having trouble applying conditional formatting to a large selection of data and would appreciate any assistance available.

I have multiple columns of data, and essentially what I want to "highlight" is: If one cell is greater (or less) than zero and the other cell which I'm conditionally formatting = 0% highlight the cell I'm conditional formatting.

The issue I have is that I want to check that we are not missing income, and if the sales figure is either positive or negative, then the cell (% figure) should not be zero.

if I understand your question correctly this is what you need to do.

select cell you wish to format > conditional formatting > use formula to determine which cells to format

in the "Format values where this formula is true" box type in =AND(cell1<>0,cell2=0)
Select which style of format you want it (color, font, etc) and hit OK.

I just tested it on my machine and it worked according to what I believe you are looking for.

edit to add:

highlight the first cell you are formatting and double click "format painter" then click each additional cell you wish to have this formatting in or drag across anywhere you wish.
