Im not even sure I know what "square root to the power of 4" means.
Are we saying its the square root of the square root of the square root of the square root?

Sorry, my english in math terms is quite poor but how it could be possible to enter that kind formula first section in excel seen above? Values are x=42 and y=80.
Thank you!
No, its not your english its probably my maths knowledge!
I understand the concept of powers.
ie I know that 10 power 3 = 10 x 10 x 10
but Im not sure if what you're asking for is to take the square root of a value and then power that by 4 or do the square root calc 4 times?
what would be the answer if you were doing the sqluare root power 4 on a single value of 25?
is it to take the square root of 25 = 5 and then do
5 x 5 x 5 x 5
or is it
square root of 5 = 2.23606797749979
square root of 2.23606797749979 = 1.495348781221221
square root of 1.495348781221221 = 1.222844544993852
ie should the answer be 625 or 1.222844544993852?
or something else entirely?
Hi
=SQRT(SQRT(16)) = 2
If that is what you mean, replace 16 with result of x+y...
