    Percentage Calculation

I want to create a formula that will tell me what percent of an increase cell D2 is of C2. What would this formula look like?

I am completely new to formulas in Excel other than simple basic formulas such as sum.

    Re: Percentage Calculation

    Possibly this:

    =(D2/C2-1)*100

    Re: Percentage Calculation

In E2, type =(D2-C2)/C2 and format it as a percent
