    Data Validation to limit amount of times value is entered

    Hi all,

    Bit of a strange one, I am curious if there is a way to have data validation on a range of cells that will only allow each entry to appear a maximum of 10 times?

    I have attached an example spreadsheet detailing what I mean. In column A i would like to restrict it so that each value, London, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Belfast only appear a maximum of 10 times each whist limiting the entire range to 30 cells. On this spreadsheet, if I try to type "London" once more in the range A2:A31 it will not let me.
