Payment Term Percentage from string of text

Hello Excel Gurus!

I am attempting to obtain the cash savings associated to my teams percent discount with regard to payment terms. Provided is a lengthy list of examples to assure formula functionality. I would like to separate the percentage from the string of text (EG: 10% NET 10, NET 30) ONLY extract the 10%.... There are numerous different types of strings, so it isn't as easy as a simple =(LEFT, 3) formula

Hi -

In all your examples, the percentage is the leftmost characters. So, copy and paste this formula into column B and copy down:

=IFERROR(NUMBERVALUE(LEFT(A1,FIND("%",A1))),"No %")

This formula finds the number placement of the percentage sign, takes that number of characters to the left, and then converts it to a true number instead of text. If there is no percentage sign, the formula returns "No %"

Is there a possible way we can factor in the same logic as the above individual, where we convert the text to numbers once the initial extraction was made?
