Inserting rows without affecting top rows in each page

    Hi,

I have an excel file and the top 4 rows are constant for all the pages which has values in it.
If I insert new row after the top 4 rows the first row in the next page is moving down. I want the 5th row to move down and keep the top 4 rows unchanged.
Is there a way to do this. Please post your ideas.

    Thanks in advance.

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Re: Inserting rows without affecting top rows in each page

Thank you for your reply Olly.
Please find the attached sample excel file.

Rows 1 to 4 is common for all the pages.
There is data from row 5 to row 46 and it ranges from 1 to 14 in column A.
I want to insert a row as same size between the values 4 and 5 and its value will be 100.
Now the row will be inserted and the last row which has the value of 14 have to be shifted to A51 without the top 4 rows being changed.

    Thank you.

Okay - insert your new row in row 5. Then go to Page Layout > Page Setup > Sheet > Rows to repeat at top - enter $1:$4

Now you can delete your repeated rows at row 47(ish).

See updated attachment for worked example.
