Automated populated in regards to month

Hi guys,

Is there a way excel can populate certain data in fields based on what month it is. For example

Say sheet 1: ColumnA ( cells in columnA I want to populate automatically from sheet 2 on current month)

sheet 2: ColumnA (Aug; 5; 5; 6; 7) Column B (Sept 6;6;7;8) ColumnC (October x;x;x (current month)

So say currently I am populating data from ColumnA since its AUG but when we roll into Sept I want sheet1 ColumnA to automatically pick up its Sept and populate and replace ColumnA in Sheet1

Hi pigment01,

I think we are going to need an Excel workbook that demonstrates what you describe. Please no screen shots or pictures.

Include a BEFORE section and an AFTER section of desired results. 20 or so rows is usually sufficient. Be sure to desensitize the data.

If you are not familiar with how to do this:

• To attach a file to your post,
• click “Go Advanced” (next to Post Quick Reply – bottom right),
• scroll down until you see “Manage Attachments”, click that,
• click “Browse”.
• select your file(s)
• click “Upload”
• click “Close window”
• click “Submit Reply”
• The file name will appear at the bottom of your reply.
