Convert Hours into Minutes

Hi All,

As part of a review of my company's operational efficiency, I need to calculate how many minutes a week each person works.

I currently have the hours per week in '[HH]:MM' format and need the total number of minutes. I've tried (perhaps naively) multiplying the hours format by 60, but with no success.

Please refer to the attached. I need the total in R16 - 41:30 which represents 41 hours and 30 minutes - converted to the total number of minutes that make up this time i.e. 2,490. This answer needs to be in accounting format.
