group percentages

simple task but I cant work it out and no one to sit with me to help

basically 3 groups of 12 numbers (well, 12 12 13) put into its own colour group. by entering a number at a time, id like to see what colour group has most %

interestingly I would like to see if the colour groups would shift so out of the numbers entered (0-36) would it calculate the highest % group?!

Percentage of what? What should the answer be for your example?

H3 box... enter a number - example 32 - D6 would say 100%

Correct, looking to see which group has most hits

Ok - in that case you will need to use an event macro for that worksheet, and make some kind of tracker column to add 1 each time a value is entered.

Attached is an example. For the macro to fire, the you must type the number in cell H3 then press enter (or leave the cell).

dont suppose theres a way so it can automagically assign its own groups so if you entered 10 numbers it shows the optimal group?

so this would be the next x amount of spins (roulette wheel) and the new colours are new groups, red is the most hit group. can this be automatic so the sheet knows to look for a highest group of 12 or 13?
