How to do an Auto YTD SUM based on a month i select in a drop down box?

So if i was to change the dropdown box from June to July, it will automatically calculate the sum upto and including July figures...

    Thanks

    Capture.PNG

So as you can see from the img, the YTD is a simple =SUM function to get total YTD units for Feb-May

I want to be able to change the month in the dropdown box and the YTD sum to auto calc the YTD figure. So if i was to change the dropdown box to July, it will auto sum Feb-Jul

Hope this makes it more clear.

    thank you

Many members are unable to see images in the *.png format due to forum compatibility issues with some browsers.

If you need to post an image post it in the *.jpg format.

Even better than posting images... post a SMALL sample file. That way we can test solutions directly in the file with the relevant data.

Are the dates date format or text?

    Assuming dates (months) are text

    in P4

    =SUM(OFFSET($C$4,0,0,1,MATCH($B$1,$C$3:$N$3,0)))
