Payroll dates. How to set up date changes.

I have 31 spreadsheets. Each one represents the numbered day of the month. I have 7 print pages worth of data per tab. Within those 7 print pages I have a date that corresponds with the tab date in 7 places.
I need to know how I can set up a date in one cell that will change the date for all of the cells that have a date and also changes the date for the other spreadsheets to correspond with the date of that tab.
For example on spreadsheet 1 the first one would have 6/1/16 and when it is July I can manually change the 6/1/16 to 7/1/16 and it will update all the places in that spreadsheet with that date and then remaining spreadsheets will have the other dates of the month filled in.

Not an answer to your question.

You could better use 1 workbook / 1 worksheet.

use column A for the date.

if you store the data in a verticaly way you can use pivot table to analyse the data.

It makes it a lot easier to analyse the data.
