    Combining formulas

hello, i have 3 formulas i would like to combine into one large one so i do not need to do this in three steps. i keep getting errors so i know i am missing something. here are my formulas they will need to go in this order in order for the results to show correctly.\

    =((SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(E2,"&",""),"-",""))) - i am removing - and & to data
    =LEFT(CONCATENATE(G2),30) - data only shows 30 characters
=H2&" "&F2 - combining the result above and merging with another cell.

can this be combined into one long formula? Also what do i do to apply this to an unknown amount of data? i dont want to drag the formula down 1,000 rows if i dont have too.

    Re: Combining formulas

Combining them should give you this:
    Formula: copy to clipboard
Please Login or Register to view this content.

if it's F2 which is the 'other cell' to be added on the other end of the result.

If it's H2 you want to have before the result, then use:
    Formula: copy to clipboard
Please Login or Register to view this content.

With this entered in the top row of a range of data, hold down the Alt key then double-click the drag-handle at the bottom right of the cell - that will auto-fill the formula down to the next blank row.

I recently started a new job so am a bit busy and may not reply quickly. Sorry - it's not personal - I will reply eventually.
If your problem is solved, please go to 'Thread Tools' above your first post and 'Mark this Thread as Solved'.
If you use commas as your decimal separator (1,23 instead of 1.23) then please replace commas with semi-colons in your formulae.
You don't need to give me rep if I helped, but a thank-you is nice.
