Copy Conditional Formatting Month to Month

I created a document that is a simplified version of a much larger spreadsheet. It has conditional formatting set up perfectly for one month. However, when I try to copy and paste it to create a new month it stays attached to the current month. Is there a way to copy the conditional formatting without keeping it attached to the previous month without having to manually go in and change the range for each column? I have tried to attach the simpler document showing the problem I am having. Let me know if it is not showing.

You can definitely combine a few of your formatting rules (see attached - my rule highlights in yellow). In order to create a bigger rule to cover several months, the space between the data for each month would have to be regular; is it?

The subsequent months have not actually been created yet. They can be set to an equal number of rows down easily.

Re: Copy Conditional Formatting Month to Month

My thought was that you could either use one formula per month as demonstrated in the Jan example in my attachment above, or, if there's a pattern to where the comparison numbers will be for every month (e.g. Jan in row C7:E7, Feb in C17:E17, March in C27:E27,etc. or Jan in C7:E7, Feb in I7:K7, March in O7:Q7, etc.) it might be possible to write one big formula to cover all of the months at once. The first option is much easier, the second more comprehensive. For the second option, though, we would need a clearer idea of how all of your months will be organized on the sheet.

Thank you very much! From your example I figured out what we were doing wrong.
