    Need Distinct List Returned

    Hi All,

I am looking for a formula that will continually pull distinct values from a list based on the date information in an adjacent column.

If the date in column C matches the date range in column A, I want all distinct values for column B to be listed in separate columns (W, X, Y...) based on their date.

I have already tried using Advanced Filter, but it won't continue to update as more information is inserted into the sheet.

Please let me know if there are any questions.

    Your help is greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!

    Re: Need Distinct List Returned

    I don't see a date range in column A - just a single date.

It would be easier to work with a sample Excel workbook, rather than a picture of one, as images can't be edited, and no-one will want to type your data in before starting to play about with it.

Column A contains the dates from May 1 2016 to May 31 2016.

    Thank you, Tony.

Pete_UK, I don't know how to insert an Excel doc, otherwise I would include it.

    Thank you!
