    Metal sheet needed calculator

    Hello,

    Can some one help me to crate some useful calculator for sheet metal size needed (cutting parts with laser)???

    Just one important part missing its formulas.

    Can some one help with formulas to get correct answers??

    This needs a little more explanation of what you are doing. For example, you have a cell showing "Z2 ???". What is the value that is supposed to be here? The area of this square? How do you figure waset? You need to tell us what the formulas are supposed to mean.

    Ok looks like its my mistake, i give to low information.

    I want to make calculator witch give me answer for how much metal need.
    For example i have 2500x1250 metal sheet in milimetres.
    I need to cut form it 5 parts witch each dimention is 68x1800 milimetre.

    How much of sheet I need x= 0.2?? I trai to get exact ansver..

    Waste z I meen that is left from sheet then i cut it. And yelow is sheet part thats is needed x. Its should be not so easy to make it work for calculating difrent part size, also bigger amount of parts.

    Thease numbers just for example.

    And one simple example.

    I have sheet of metal 2500x1250mm dimention.
    And i need to cut 1 part of dimention 2500x500mm
    Its meen i need 500/1250=0,4

    That is my x. I need 0,4 of 2500x1250mm sheet. For this one part
