I am trying to create a project plan in Excel where cells are conditionally filled based on start/end date. This is how I would like it to work:
START DATE ｜ END DATE 01/01/2016 ｜ 02/01/2016 ｜ 03/01/2016 ｜ 04/01/2016 ｜ 05/01/2016
02/01/2016 ｜ 04/01/2016 --------------CELLS FILLED IN--------------
03/01/2016 ｜ 04/01/2016 -------CELLS FILLED IN-----
Hope the mock up makes sense!
Is there an easy way to do this? Thanks for any help.
Suggest you post a sample workbook. The mock up doesn't really work although it gives an idea what you want.

New quick method:
Select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Solved. To undo, select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Unsolved.
Or you can use this way:
How to mark a thread Solved
Go to the first post
Click edit
Click Go Advanced
Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.
Change to Solved
Click Save
