I have a large set of data that I need to consolidate with a lot of blank cells, but they are not blank, they have a SPACE inserted. I can’t use find and replace because it will remove all the space in all the cells and I can’t use find and select “blanks” special characters because the cells are not blank… Thank you for your help in advance.
Why not? In 2007, I have the option (in the Find and Replace dialog) of "match entire cell contents" which allows Excel to distinguish between a cell containing only a " " character and a space character between words in other cells. It seems unlikely that this options would be taken away in 2010.I can’t use find and replace because it will remove all the space in all the cells
Does that work, or is there more to the problem?
