Hi
I'm hoping someone can assist! I'm a typical Excel user.....I know some functions very well but others not so. Simple concatenate is fine but I have variable formats of data I'm trying to join together.
I have file of names and addresses although the addresses are spread over 3, 4 or 5 rows depending on the individual. The first row typically has the text "Current Address:" which has pulled across from the database they came from.
I'm looking to create a single string of text with the address in a new column, i.e. 20 High Street, London as opposed to the current format which is:
Current Address:
20 High Street
London
I understand how to concatenate the address together - my challenge is how to copy the formula down when there are a variable number of rows that make up the address. As I mentioned, I also want to lose the text "Current Address" in the resulting single string of text.
Any help would be very much appreciated. :-)
