Pro Rata - Allocation Help

Hi All,

I was wondering if you were able to help, I have 4000 units to distribute across stores dependent on how many customers attended the store versus those who were invited, if this makes sense and I was wondering if anyone had a formula that will allow me to allocate depending on the percentage difference in the customer numbers as they will differ per store?

Percentage difference against what? Other stores? Other dates?

Perhaps you could supply some sample data with manually created expected results?

thanks for your reply ,essentially I've been asked to pro rata resources dependent on the number of customers attending, please see the table below, to see if i've explained this properly



Allocation 4,000

Store Invited Attended % Attended
store A 4 3 75%
store B 100 50 50%
Store C 20 5 25%

There's a chance I may have completely misunderstood the problem here.
But have a look at the attached and see if it's of any use to you.
