Hey, I'm not that experienced in Excel functions so I needed some helpI wanted a function something like this: in every cell Bn, I want an average of all cells from A1 to An. For instance, B3 would have AVERAGE(A1,A2,A3). But the problem I'm running into is I'm unable to use the fill handle to fill this in. If I fill in AVERAGE(A1:A4) in B4 and use the fill handle, B5 gets AVERAGE(A2:A5).
Any advice would be great.
Try
AVERAGE(A$1:A4)
Put this formula in cell B4:
Then when you pull that down to B5 it will average A1:A5 for you.
