porblem with time calculation over days

Hi there

Looking for a bit of help in here as I'm stuck on my calculation with times
I need to calculater the time from when someone goes "IN" till someone goes "OUT"
This in itself isn't the problem
The Problem arises when people "forget" to type in the "IN" or "OUT" times ... and the calculation either won't show anything or will show an error

Now the calculation needs to be bale to calculate from day to day as some goes "IN" one day and "OUT" another day ...
This also needs to calculate from sheet to sheet

Now if someone forgets to type the "IN" time and the day before is "closed" (Has both "IN" and "OUT" ) then I would like a message in that cell

It might be better to combine all the data on one sheet with continuous dates, and then if you want to see the relevant data for one month you can have another sheet where you can select the year and month from drop-downs and the data will be displayed automatically.

Using it as a workscheme for each month so can't use a dropdown but combining it all on one sheet and then spread it out over more isn't impossible ..
Though biggest problem still persist when one day is finished already (having an IN and OUT time) and one of the days after doesn't have the IN time on ...
Then I have two calculations for the same day where one stretches more days and thereby give the wrong calculation on the complete worktime for the month

In addition to the previous post you can use the following formula in E4 to mark errors

Formula:

=IF(COUNTA($B$4:$B4)+SUM($E$3:$E3)-COUNTA($C$4:$C4)>=0,"",1)

made some calculations witht his one but still gets wrong results ...

Did you enter the times manually on "every" or ?? cause I don't see any calculations on how you got them there ???

I made a big big IFERROR calc to grab the numbers from every month and put them into the table ... helped me get better calculations
but a lot harder to make corrections to

*marked the cells in "yellow" further down and then the time calculation to how long the work time is
(file is in Danish but hope you can still look at it)
