I am still working on my site template and ran into another snag trying to auto-populate switch ports based on info input into a master sheet.
My overall goal here is to have the "Master Sheet" ( 'IP Scheme' ) be the place where the majority of information from a site install is input by a field technician. This information will then auto-populate to the other various sheets.
This forum has helped me get quite a lot done so far, but I've run into a snag on switch ports.
So in IP_Scheme table I have columns dedicated to what [Switch] [Port] are utilized. This could be pulled based on the [IP Address] more than likely. However the table I'm pulling it into is far from the same order that they are organized in the IP_Scheme table. That is the Switch_Ports table and its got columns [1][2][3] and so on that should be populated from the IP_Scheme table.
I'll attach an updated version of the workbook with some example cells filled in for visual.
Thank you again guys. If we can keep this in formulas that would be excellent as I have yet to delve into the VBA side of things.
