Hi All,
Unfortunately no-one seems to have responded to my earlier thread on formatting an annual leave form (http://www.excelforum.com/excel-form...ng-please.html) and this thread has now been resigned to the murky depths of Page 3 of this forum, inevitably headed to Room 101 forever.
I can only assume that my query posed more complications than I originally anticipated and would have taken up a lot of another users time and thus there was little motivation to solve it. So I thought it might be worthwhile breaking it up into several queries, the first of which I shall ask here.
Is it possible to assign a cell a time period (i.e. AM or PM) as well as a date. I have a calendar which displays all the days of the year as 2 halves (one half for morning and one half for afternoon). The reason for this being that, should anyone wish to request a half day holiday, they can shade in one half of the day on the calendar to demonstrate this. Essentially I want to achieve this so I can use these values to conditional format and distinguish between AM and PM on one date, if necessary.
