[SOLVED] How to convert the Swiss franc to excel readable number

Hello,

I do not know what I need. We just have a entity set up in Switzerland. The report they sent to us is in Swiss franc. The amount format looks like this: 36'700.38. Excel keeps giving me error. How can I change it into 36,700.38? A formula? Or is there a button in Excel can do the work?

Have you tried find/replace?

• Select the range to be impacted
• CTRL+H....shortcut for Home.Find&Replace.Replace
...Find what: ' <--That's an apostrophe
...Replace with: (leave this blank)
...Click: Replace all
