Conditional Formatting with a formula

Hi

I am trying to create conditional formatting whereby if the first instance of an item in a list of items contains a particular phrase and also a value in another column, then the value columns for items in the list that also contain that phrase are coloured red. This is further complicated by the fact that sometimes the phrase is abbreviated, so for example Student's Book appears abbreviated as SB. If the value column for the first instance of the phrase is blank then the other items containing that phrase can stray uncoloured.
