Autopopulate second sheet with data from first??

    Hello all,

I am hoping you can understand my rambling...here goes:

I am building an inspection sheet that has drop down boxes for the techs to choose a result from thier inspection. I have a second sheet in my workbook for when an inspection results in a Warranty claim. I would like to see the sections on the warranty sheet which are the same as the inspection sheet autofill with data. I am struggling because I have data validation set in most of the boxes so I can't enter a formula in those cells. Is there another way or does anyone have another suggestion?

    Thanks so much!!

Re: Autopopulate second sheet with data from first??

Ok, please forgive me. I don't use the forum a lot so I kinda suck at this

The first Tab is the sheet the tech needs to fill out anytime he completes an inspection. The tab labelled Warranty Cylinder Inspection is the sheet I would like to auto populate with data from the first sheet. As you can see, I have data validation boxes all over the sheet so I can't use a simple ='s formula to have the data auto fill. Does that make more sense?

No problem. I have looked at your workbook and have determined that this is a job for someone higher up in the excel knowledge chain than I am. Sorry about that.
