Help with formula to sum 2 columns before equating

Hello, I have attached a file that I need help with. In tab you can see that I made a column that sums two other columns and then in the calculations tab in A1 i have a calculation based off of that. I am wondering how to make the calculation work the same way but so that I dont have to have that column F summed, but sum it in the formula.
