Replacing number by text in colomn

Having trouble.

I have a sheet coming in. But the 1 or 2 need to be replaced with Private or Business...

in a blank column

=LOOKUP(E1,{1,2},{"Private","Business"})
and copy down

sorry my fault, didn't take a good printscreen. Cut off the numbers.
So, Special-K it did not work.

Can u give it a new try please.

Use Find & Replace?

1) In that case the result for the added formula in#2 (Special-K) will be.

M2=LOOKUP(J1,{1,2},{"Private","Business"})
and copy down

2) But I would go for the solution in #5 (John Topley) Find and Replace.

You were better off adding the excel file, so forummembers can show the result in your file.
