I am compiling a spread sheet to record meal choices for a lunch I am organising.
A 2-course option costs £10.95 and 3 courses £13.95.
I am inserting asterisks alongside names to denote choices and want to show the cost for each individual in a certain column.
So, I want to enter a formula to say "if 2 asterisks in cell block A2 to A10 then £10.95 automatically populates; if 3 asterisks then £13.95"
