Creating a website hyperlink from a data validation drop down list

Hi there,

As the title suggests, that is what I am trying to do!

I have a list of banks that the brokers will select from a drop down menu for each of their clients. I would like it if this list (when any of the banks are selected) comes up as a link to the banks broker website.

Is this possible and how do I do it?

P.S. I have already created a list on a separate page where I created a hyperlink for one of the banks but it did not work - I would prefer not to have a whole email address come up either.
