Array formula required Ctr+Shift+Enter
Formula:
=SUMPRODUCT(--(C2:C11<>"Awaited")*(B2:B11))

What if the cells are blank ie there is no "awaited" mark there.

Also you forgot the denominator, which is critical part of this query.

you have mentioned only about Summation... ok then try this...
Formula:
=SUMPRODUCT(--ISNUMBER(C2:C11)*(B2:B11),C2:C11)/SUMPRODUCT(--ISNUMBER(C2:C11)*(B2:B11))
