Hello all

Newbie forum member. I normally figure out the formula I need but I'm confused by using text data in excel. I've tried a few IF,ISNUMBER,SEARCH,LEFT,RIGHT combinations and just can't quite nail this one.

C4 contains G, D4 contains AG and E4 contains AG

If E4 contains only one letter from C4 then the result in K4 should be "+/-", if C4 is contained in both letters in E4 then "+/+", if C4 is not contained in E4 at all then "-/-". The result in K4 in this example should be +/-.
