I need to know what formula to use to total the sum of work completed for 3 different locations showing the total next to each location. I can get the total number completed but cant break it out per location. Would it be a sumif or countif logic?
column A = location (tex, la, ark)
column B = date completed
What I need to see:
tex 5
la 3
ark 7

Please upload a workbook so that we can see the request in context. At the moment I don't understand it nor the relevance of the date column. Manually add some of the results you expect to see.

the date field indicates the day the work was completed.
